Owned and managed by the second generation of the Stephens family, Ford Farm and its fourteenth century farmhouse are situated at Smithaleigh,Plympton, about eight miles east of the city of Plymouth in the South West of England.

Until April 2001 the farm supported our beef suckler herd and flock of Suffolk sheep. These animals were slaughtered to help prevent the spread of Foot and Mouth Disease. But we are pleased to announce that in September 2003 we have started to restock with a beef suckler herd.
